Tuesday, April 25, 2017
5:30 – 7 pm
Williamsport Regional Medical Center
Education & Conference Center
700 High Street, Williamsport
Join vascular surgeon Dr. Frank Oaks from UPMC Susquehanna’s Heart & Vascular Institute, to learn the risks and warning signs of stroke and artery disease. Peripheral artery disease, which can lead to stroke is often mistaken by women as normal signs of aging. Each year more women have strokes than men yet, only 1 in 4 women can name more than two of the six primary stroke symptoms, according to the National Stroke Association. Be able to identify stroke symptoms so you can act fast, survive and recover in the case of an emergency. Taking time to learn more about stroke and artery disease might save someone’s life, maybe even your own.
Registration is required and space is limited! Registration will open on April 4. Call 1-877-883-4791 to register. A light dinner will be provided.
